Never place fluorescent bulbs (including CFLs) in the trash or Traditional recycling. These bulbs contain small amounts of mercury, which can contaminate soil, water, and food sources.

Important Information
If paint is fully dried out, remove the lid and place the empty container in your regular trash. Once dry, the paint is no longer considered hazardous.

Important Information
Materials must be poured into our containers. Empty containers must be taken home for reuse or properly disposed of, as they cannot be recycled due to contamination.

Medication must be in its original container with the name and dosage clearly visible. All identifying information will be removed during processing. Controlled substances must be disposed of at the Police Station or CVS.

Important Information
All appliances must be thoroughly cleaned out before drop-off. For appliances containing Freon, do not attempt to remove or drain the Freon yourself, our vendor will handle proper recovery and disposal.

Used needles and lancets can be dropped off at any county sharps kiosk, no office check-in required. Place sharps in approved containers (medical sharps containers or rigid plastic like detergent bottles). Do not use thin plastic (e.g., water bottles or milk jugs).
