Cleanup Week 2021 starts this SATURDAY,
September 11th at 8 AM!
This is an amnesty week for the normal small charges paid to properly dispose of your large and bulky items. This is open to Miami County residents only. All accounts must be paid in full. NO CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION MATERIALS.
Quick reminder from the District: your yearly recycling bills were due MAY 31st. Late fees have been added to your bills. All accounts must be paid in full in order to use the Cleanup Week and other District Programs. Get your payments in ASAP!
The Mission of the Miami County Recycling District is to implement and provide source reduction and recycling programs that will reduce the amount of solid waste disposed of in landfills, encourage recycling efforts, provide guidance for waste stream reduction, and increase awareness of proper hazardous waste disposal.
Illegal dumping at the recycling drop off bin sites is an ongoing problem. There are signs on all the bins that have color pictures of EXACTLY what is supposed to be dropped off. If your item is not on the picture, don't leave it at the bin. The District offers many programs to help you manage your difficult items. Don't risk losing your favorite drop off site-keep it clean! #RecycleRight!
